Liverpool's captain, Virgil van Dijk, has been allowed an extended break following his participation with the Netherlands in Euro 2024 this summer.

Liverpool's captain, Virgil van Dijk, was seen enjoying time with DJ Calvin Harris and Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne before his return to Anfield. The Dutch defender was at Ushuaia, reconnecting with De Bruyne after their last summer trip to Ibiza, where they met the globally famous DJ Harris.

After playing in Euro 2024, the defender was given an extended holiday. He hasn't played since the Netherlands' 2-1 defeat to England in the semi-finals on Wednesday, July 10. This isn't the first time Van Dijk and De Bruyne have been seen at a Harris performance.

Previously in July, Van Dijk and De Bruyne were accompanied by Manchester United's Marcus Rashford and City's Nathan Ake at the same location for the Scottish artist's show. Then, Van Dijk was celebrated on stage during what he called a 'crazy' birthday event.

Meanwhile, De Bruyne is reportedly eager to join Al-Ittihad, having expressed a wish to move to Saudi Arabia. Recent reports suggest the midfielder has settled personal terms with Al-Ittihad, with ongoing discussions between Al-Ittihad and City regarding a transfer fee for the 33-year-old.
