Liverpool's goalkeeping coach Claudio Taffarel is anticipated to remain with the club, joining Arne Slot's backroom team.
While goalkeeper coaches John Achterberg and Jack Robinson have followed Jurgen Klopp in leaving Anfield after the victory over Wolves, Taffarel's future was previously unclear.
This Is Anfield has learnt that the 58-year-old is expected to continue his tenure in Merseyside, serving under the new head coach, Slot.
Taffarel shares a strong bond with fellow Brazilian Alisson Becker, who vouched for his addition to the coaching staff in 2021.
According to last week's report by This Is Anfield, Alisson intends to stay at Liverpool this summer, despite significant interest from Saudi Arabia as the transfer window approaches.
Retaining Taffarel is likely a move to ensure the comfort of Liverpool's prime goalkeeper.
The club is also looking to bring in another goalkeeping coach to compensate for the departures of Achterberg and Robinson.
Jyri Nieminen, Feyenoord's esteemed coach, is reportedly being considered for a position on Slot's team.
Post-game on Sunday, Alisson spoke about the overhaul in Liverpool's goalkeeping department to Stadium Astro, saying, "All these guys did an amazing job. We wanted them to stay longer. Working directly with Jonny and Jack was a privilege."
When questioned about Taffarel's status, he said, "It seems so. I wish our time together could have been longer, but it's beyond my control. I hold great affection for them, not just as goalie coaches but as individuals too."
