Mohamed Salah has been voted Liverpool's Standard Chartered Men's Player of the Month for October.

Number 11 has secured the award for the second time in the 2024-25 season, having garnered the most votes in a recent supporters' poll on Liverpoolfc.com.

Ibrahima Konate was the second choice, while Ryan Gravenberch, the winner in September, came in third.

Upon receiving the award at the AXA Training Centre today, Salah expressed: "It's a wonderful feeling when the team is soaring and clinching victories – that's the paramount thing. I wouldn't be as content if I were performing well and the team wasn't winning.

"The crucial aspect is to continue in this vein and, hopefully, we'll persist in winning games."

Salah participated in all six of the Reds' matches during this time, contributing three goals and an equal number of assists, aiding Arne Slot's squad in maintaining an unbeaten streak.

The Egyptian commenced October by assisting Alexis Mac Allister's initial goal against Bologna, then scored a remarkable goal to secure the Champions League win.

He netted a penalty in the 2-1 triumph over Chelsea at Anfield and also provided the assist for Curtis Jones' pivotal goal.

After setting up Darwin Nunez's goal against RB Leipzig in Europe, Salah later secured a draw for his team at Arsenal with a goal in the 81st minute.

When asked about his preferred moment from October, he disclosed: "Probably the Chelsea match when Curtis scored because I delivered a precise cross, something we frequently practice. Executing it in a match feels fantastic, particularly as it was the decisive second goal. I was elated for him and for providing an assist that led to our victory."

Following his October performances, Salah started November with a remarkable goal that ensured a comeback victory against Brighton & Hove Albion at Anfield.

This goal elevated him to the eighth position on the Premier League's all-time top scorers list, surpassing Robbie Fowler.

Salah acknowledged the significance of this milestone, stating: "Honestly, it means a tremendous amount. It's a result of my intense dedication."

"Playing as a winger is challenging, especially when compared to strikers. The dual responsibility of defense and offense is quite demanding.

"I take great pride in my performance statistics and aim to continue improving them," he expressed.

Liverpool leads the Premier League and Champions League and has advanced to the Carabao Cup quarter-finals.

"A club like Liverpool, with its passionate fans, should always be contending for titles," Salah declared. "We stand a strong chance to clinch the Premier League and Champions League, or at least compete fiercely until the final moments.

"With Liverpool's stature, the city's spirit, our dedicated fans, talented players, and skilled coach, we must persist in our efforts and hopefully secure a significant victory in the end."
