Liverpool plotting devastating £98m double raid on Prem side which will anger Arsenal, Man Utd.

Liverpool is reportedly intensifying efforts to sign Wolves winger Pedro Neto, while also continuing their interest in his teammate, Rayan Ait-Nouri.

The Reds have not yet been active in this summer's transfer window, but with a new manager at the helm, it's improbable that the squad will remain unchanged.

It's highly unlikely that Arne Slot will proceed with the same lineup that Jurgen Klopp employed during his tenure.

As recent reports indicate, Liverpool is preparing for a significant recruitment push as the transfer window draws to a close. The club's primary targets are believed to be a wide forward, a defensive midfielder, and a center-back before the deadline.

Additionally, the left-back position could see new competition, with Liverpool linked to Wolves' Ait-Nouri for some time now. Given that Andy Robertson is 30 and faced injury challenges last season, it's plausible that Liverpool might seek to bolster this position.

Ait-Nouri is reportedly valued at £38 million, attributed to a release clause in his contract Liverpool could potentially outmaneuver Wolves not only for one player but two. In addition to considering the acquisition of Ait-Nouri, GIVEMESPORT reports that Liverpool is intensifying efforts to attract winger Neto.

While Arsenal was previously thought to be leading the chase, Liverpool has reportedly initiated discussions with Neto's representatives regarding a potential summer transfer to Anfield. Expectations are mounting that his agent, Jorge Mendes, will advocate for a significant transfer for Neto.

Liverpool aims for the Portuguese player to challenge Luis Diaz and others, now that Slot has taken charge. Should Liverpool succeed in signing Neto, the cost is projected to be £60 million, reflecting the high demand from other top Premier League clubs.

Consequently, securing both Neto and Ait-Nouri would result in Liverpool investing £98 million in the duo from Wolves, marking a bold double swoop indicative of their ambition to strengthen immediately under Slot's leadership.

This move could disadvantage Manchester United, who are also pursuing Ait-Nouri, and Arsenal, potentially giving Liverpool an edge over the latter, who finished just above them in the previous season.
