Former Liverpool defender Sami Hyypia is "confident" that his former club has found the right successor for Jurgen Klopp and is not concerned about the lack of transfer activity this summer.

Hyypia, who clinched six major trophies at Anfield, including the 2005 Champions League, is accompanying the team as an ambassador on their pre-season tour in the United States.
Feeling optimistic about the appointment after meeting Slot before a friendly match against Real Betis in Pittsburgh, Hyypia shared his thoughts with BBC Sport.
"I had a brief conversation with him on the flight, and he seems like a confident, pleasant individual," said Hyypia.
"He's somewhat different from Jurgen, but I'm confident we've made the correct decision for Jurgen's successor. It's going to be challenging, no doubt.
"Arne is aware of the task ahead. His willingness to embrace the challenge, despite its difficulty, shows his character. He's taking over a great team with talented individuals and promising young players.
"We might notice some similarities on the field, but also some subtle differences. I don't expect Arne to adopt the exact same approach. I believe everyone at the club, including the fans, supports him. He won't have much time with the entire squad, so patience is necessary."
Liverpool remains the only Premier League team yet to sign a player, but Slot expressed his surprise if the team didn't make any signings by the end of the summer transfer window.
While the slow pace of transfers has frustrated some fans, Hyypia calls for calm.
"I'm not at all worried that we haven't signed anyone yet," he continued. "The transfer window is still open, so there's time to see if we can strengthen a specific area.
"Once everyone returns, we'll be able to better assess the situation.
"Arne mentioned in his press conference that we have a strong squad and are waiting for the right player. If the right one doesn't come along, then it's better not to rush into any decisions."
