Dominik Szoboszlai named Liverpool's Men's Player of the Month for February


Dominik Szoboszlai has won Liverpool's Standard Chartered Men's Player of the Month award for February.


The tireless midfielder secured the prize for the first time in the 2024-25 season by topping a recent poll on Liverpoolfc.com.


Szoboszlai, who three goals his seven appearances during the period, edged Mohamed Salah to the No.1 spot in the supporter vote.


Reacting to receiving the award at the AXA Training Centre, the Hungarian said: "It was a brilliant month for all of us and also me. got in the rhythm where I wanted to be and I just hope to continue.


"It was an important month. we knew it before it even started that we were going to have a lot of games, so we have to get the most out of it. That was the plan and what we did, so we're just going to keep going."


All ofoboszlai's outings in February were starts, and he went on to claim Carlsberg Player of the Match honours in two of them.


The No.8 scored the Reds' third in the 4-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur to help secure a spot at Wembley in the Carabao Cup final.


In the away Premier League clash with Manchester City, he set up's opener before doubling the visitors' lead with a classy finish later in the first half.


The 24-year-old completed the month with another standout display at Anfield against Newcastle United,starting it with the game's first goal after 10 minutes.
