Alexis Mac Allister has addressed the speculation regarding a potential transfer to Real Madrid.

Following reports that Alexis Mac Allister might transfer to Real Madrid due to a release clause, the Liverpool midfielder has responded. Argentine journalist Marcelo Benedetto claimed on DSPORTS Radio last week that Mac Allister was a target for Real Madrid, suggesting the 25-year-old has a £60 million release clause at Liverpool, positioning him as Toni Kroos' successor.

However, upon arrival in Argentina for Copa America preparations, Mac Allister dismissed the Real Madrid speculation, affirming his contentment at Anfield. "I don't deal in assumptions; I'm very happy at Liverpool," he stated to ESPN, reflecting on a strong individual season despite unmet team goals. Mac Allister, included in Argentina's 29-man preliminary squad for the tournament in the United States from June 20 to July 14, expressed pride in his national team selection, which he learned of via social media.

Despite the departure of the manager who signed him, Mac Allister's commitment to Liverpool is unwavering. As a pivotal figure and standout performer since his move from Brighton, he's been integral to the Reds, with his alleged release clause being questionable, as it's atypical for Liverpool to consent to such terms during negotiations.

While interest from teams like Real Madrid is anticipated due to Mac Allister's caliber, the aspiration is for his long-term stay at Anfield. Jurgen Klopp, in a Sky Sports interview before leaving, praised Mac Allister, highlighting his immediate impact and the love he commands as both a player and a person.
